Edyta is a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in the mediums of painting, printmaking, and language. Her practice explores how images, stories, emotions and beliefs propagate, mutate, and accumulate over time. She treats visual forms and linguistic devices as mutable pillars of meaning.

Fluid, repeated gestures and ambiguous figures recur throughout her work, echoing the ways ideas are copied, transformed, and collectively sustained. What do we believe? Why do we believe it? What gets repeated over and over and why? Engaging with questions of ontology, visual history, language, and systems of knowledge, she considers how realities are constructed through repetition and shared perception.

Rather than offering definitive narratives, her works invite viewers to inhabit moments of flux, where familiar forms might dissolve into new possibilities, and meaning remains in continual transformation.

Edyta is based in London. Originally from a 300-person village in Upper Silesia, Poland, she was educated in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy and Florida, US prior to landing in the UK. She speaks four languages fluently, and four more on the level of a tourist trying to get by while attempting to charm the locals. Before studying Painting and Contemporary Art Practice at the Royal College of Art, Edyta had a career in the startup space, at Google, and in genetic research.
